Pizzomunno beach

How to get:

The most convenient way to get to Pizzomunno beach is by car, via the provincial road that runs along the sea. Once you arrive near the bay there are many parking lots next to the seafront, they are paid starting from May 15th.

Description of Pizzomunno beach:

Also called “del Castello” or “Scialara”, it is a large sandy beach adjacent to the city. About 3 km long, it is very famous for the white cliffs and in particular for the 25-metre high limestone monolith. It takes its name from this rock that legend has it was a boy turned into stone by sirens jealous of his love for his beloved Cristalda.

The view from the beach is that of the old town of Vieste, perched on the rock. This beach is one of the most popular in the Gargano both for the panorama and for its proximity to the historic center and for the services available. In fact, there are many bathing establishments here as well as large free spaces. Dogs are allowed.
