Calenelle beach, immersed in a bucolic landscape, offers tranquility. We tell you everything you want to know!

The beach is located about 6 km from Peschici in the municipality of Vico del Gargano and can be reached by taking the state road 89.
The beach is a long coastline (almost 1km), made of golden sand and takes its name from the place where it is located. It is surrounded by cultivated fields, bordered by the “Marzini pine forest” and the medieval tower of Monte Pucci.
The sea is turquoise with sandy bottoms that slowly become deep. The beach is both free and private. Overall, like its nearby San Menaio beach, it is appreciated for the bucolic panorama and for the tranquility it offers. Near the Calenelle beach are the early Christian hypogea, sites that until the Middle Ages were places of worship and necropolis, which later became a shelter for herds.
