Peschici: how to get there and what to see

Peschici is undoubtedly among the most beautiful villages to visit in the Gargano, perched overlooking the sea, it boasts a very suggestive historic center and spectacular beaches. Discover how to get there and what to see in Peschici.

How to get there

  • By car: arriving from the north on the A14 Bologna-Taranto motorway, exit at Poggio Imperiale. Continue on the SS89 in the direction of Vico del Gargano up to Peschici. From central Italy with the A1 Rome-Naples motorway or with the A21 Rome-Pescara exit at Poggio Imperiale and continue along the SS89. From the south with the A16 Napoli-Bari or with the A14 Taranto-Bari exit at Poggio Imperiale and continue on the SS89.
  • By train: arrive at the Foggia station and take the connection with the train or bus of “Ferrovie del Gargano”.
  • By plane: the closest airports are those of Bari, Foggia and Pescara, once landed you can continue by renting a car or relying on “Ferrovie del Gargano”.

What to see in Peschici

Peschici is one of the most characteristic villages of the Gargano, it stands on a cliff overlooking the sea, it is all white with blue decorations. We advise you to stroll through the historic center, among the narrow streets full of handicrafts and typical products.
