Then continue along the SS693 up to Cagnano Varano.<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What to see in Cagnano Varano:<\/h2>\r\n<p>Cagnano Varano is a white and <strong>perched village<\/strong>, it is located between the sea, the lake and the hills of the Gargano. <a href=\"https:\/\/blog.homegargano.com\/en\/discover-gargano\/the-lakes-of-gargano-characteristics-and-curiosities\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Lake Varano<\/strong><\/a>, among the things to see absolutely, is separated from the sea by a thin strip of sand. It is a place much appreciated by tourists and locals because it offers the opportunity <strong>to spend pleasant days in nature<\/strong>.<\/p>\r\n<p>The beach is white and the sea is clear, if you want to spend an unforgettable day we suggest you take a boat from here to go down the coast exploring the many sea caves and coves. In Cagnano Varano there is the<em> &#8220;Grotta di San Michele&#8221;<\/em>\u00a0(San Michele cave) also known as the <em>&#8220;Grotta dell&#8217;Angelo&#8221;<\/em>\u00a0(angel cave) in which <strong>the saint is said to have appeared there<\/strong>.<\/p>\r\n<p>This cave represents one of the stages of the <strong>pilgrims<\/strong> who walk towards <strong>Monte Sant&#8217;Angelo<\/strong> and has traces of the men who lived here in the Neolithic.
