Cala della Sanguinara beach is located 12 km from Vieste<\/a> and can be reached via the SP53. Once there, leave the car in a small dirt parking lot on the roadside and continue on foot along the path.<\/p>\r\n

Description of Cala della Sanguinara beach:<\/h2>\r\n

This beach is famous for its emerald green water<\/strong>, ideal for those who love underwater photography<\/strong>. In general it is a very naturalistic cove, surrounded by pine trees and sheltered from the winds. Due to its position, the sun rises a little late and sets early. The bottom is pebbly and gets deep quickly. Nearby Cala della Sabguinara beach there is also the “grotta dei pomodori”\u00a0<\/em>(cave of tomatoes), which can be visited by swimming or by boat<\/strong>. It takes its name from the clusters of red molluscs visible at the entrance to the cave.<\/p>\r\n
