What to see in Monte Sant’Angelo, beautiful village in Italy

In this article we tell you what to see in Monte Sant’Angelo, named “one of the most beautiful villages in Italy”. It is located in Puglia, and is a small characteristic town in the Gargano area. Monte Sant’Angelo is very small, ideal for those who have only a few days to travel. It overlooks the Gulf of Manfredonia, 800 meters on the sea. It enjoys a different microclimate from the coastal areas, which is why it is so loved by tourists but also by the inhabitants of the Gargano. In fact, in the middle of summer when the heat is unbearable, many take refuge here to enjoy the cool climate. The town in the Gargano is characterized by terraced houses, all white, with sloping roofs and medieval town planning. The distribution of these houses, so close together, was seen in antiquity as a way to strengthen collaboration between the citizens of the country, who were mostly farmers. If you are thinking of coming to visit this small village in the Gargano, here is a list of things to see in Monte Sant’Angelo.
