The Leone beach is located in the village of Rodi Garganico, it is a free and wild cove that is easy to reach.

The Leone beach is near to Rodi Garganico. To get there, just take the provincial road 52 which runs along the entire promontory and which takes you directly to Rodi.
Here the main parking is along the road between the beach and the railway (free) or in the tourist port (for a fee). Obviously in high season it is preferable to arrive early in the morning to be able to find a place more easily. The beach is located just beyond the port and can be reached on foot after having parked the car.
The beach in question is a completely free and wild cove. It owes its name to a rock that appears on the shore and which appears to have the shape of a lion. Watching the waves crash against it, it even seems that the foam is the thick mane of the lion. Among all the beaches of Rodi Garganico this is the one that is wilder but at the same time easy to find.
